Pristine Porcelain
Symbol of Theocracy details and lore.
Lore
As early as the 1st century AD, craftsmen of China's Eastern Han Dynasty unintentionally raised kiln temperatures above 1300°C during pottery firing, causing vitrification and giving rise to early porcelain. After the Tang Dynasty refined kaolin formulas, porcelain was exported across Eurasia. The ceramic body is translucent like jade and produces a clear, resonant sound when struck. Celadon glazes resemble early summer lake water, while white porcelain appears pure and flawless. With the addition of cobalt blue decoration, it evolved into the famous blue-and-white porcelain.
